Basic Connotation Of Shot Peening Treatment

Shot peening can improve the fatigue strength, wear resistance, and roughness of mechanical parts, and its application is becoming increasingly widespread. With the improvement of technical requirements, new shot peening techniques have been developed. This article summarizes the research and development status of traditional shot peening technology both domestically and internationally, elaborates on the characteristics and usage conditions of new shot peening technology, analyzes the limitations of shot peening strengthening technology in practical applications, and points out that the future research focus should be on developing composite shot peening strengthening technology, exploring new application directions, and strengthening theoretical research.
