Cup printer has been developed in the recent years for printing on all kinds of cups,and still being updated.before the cup printer is developed,generally,the printing factory or the printing people print the photo onto the cup by traditional printing,such as the silk screen printing,but it often take a long time to make the plate of printing,and can't meet the instant and fast demand.and with the inkjet printing development,people start to print on series of flat materials with the flatbed printer,flatbed was developed earlier than the cup printer.
This printer is developed based on cylindrical,conical or tapered shape of cups need,and also some of special shaped cups.the printer not just print one or four colors,it can print various colors according to your artwork,and the print effect can be vivid.When people use the traditional method to print,they often have to prepare the plate before printing,it is always time-consuming,labor-intensive,that means it is costly.it is not cost-efficient.
However, the cylindrical printing technology also has some limitations. The printing area is limited to the cylindrical surface of the object, so the printed design cannot cover the entire product. In addition, the printing process is not suitable for complex and irregular shapes of objects.
This advanced printer can used to print conical products.a few setting in the software can achieve the printing,it is easier to print on taper compared to the traditional screen printing,when printing,the product has to move in a special way.or the way to paste the picture onto the taper that the artwork should be fan-shaped.the UV digital way printing,the artwork just need to be normal rectangle,so it will be easier to make the file.when printing,the software can calculate itself to match the taper.in the software,we just need to fill in the big side diameter,the small side diameter and the print height of the artwork.
